The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) has opened its highly anticipated Costa Navarino hotel and spa.

The group’s first property in Greece, the beachfront retreat is the result of a partnership between MOHG and high-end sustainability-focused tourism developer Temes.

Design team Tombazis & Associates Architects and K-Studio have created a bioclimatic design, which utilises locally sourced materials and embraces green living concepts.

The resort has been styled to embrace the natural beauty of Messenia, which is in the southwest Peloponnese.

Its design maximises on the location’s extraordinary views, offering a back-to-nature experience.
