Leading medical destination group Lanserhof is to open its new health resort property, Lanserhof Sylt,  from January 2022.

Located on the island of Sylt in northern Germany, the 20,000sqm health resort has a total estimated construction cost of €100m (£88.9m) and will include 67 guest bedrooms.

Lanserhof Sylt's design is being led by architect Christoph Ingenhoven

A team of experts under the management of Dr Jan Stritzke will oversee extensive LANS Med Concept medical care for guests, as well as external visitors and residents of the island.

Lanserhof Sylt will have a spacious spa area featuring saunas and a sun terrace hidden in the surrounding dunes, as well as CT and MRI scanning equipment and a dedicated cardiological rehabilitation facility.

The resort will be nestled within the local sand dunes

Built in a former military officers’ homes area across six buildings, the construction and design of the resort is being led by Düsseldorf architect Christoph Ingenhoven and will include panoramic views of  List harbour against the backdrop of the Wadden Sea.

The new development contributes to the Group’s expanding portfolio, which currently includes Lanserhof Lans near Innsbruck in Austria; Lanserhof Tegernsee in Bavaria, Germany; LANS Medicum and LANS Cardio in Hamburg, Germany and Lanserhof at The Arts Club in London, UK.
