Beautiful spa garden aims to put Lanelay Hall ‘on the map’

Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa, located near Cardiff in South Wales, has significantly invested in its spa offer with the addition of a range of new features and a spa garden.

General manager Jonathan Smith has guided the design and construction of the boutique hotel’s spa renovation, including enhancements to the reception area and the addition of an extra treatment room.  Suppliers include Ellisons and BC Softwear, and the treatment menu offers organic seaweed-based skincare range ishga. The spa can now offer treatments to up to six guests at any one time.

Outside, an all-weather spa garden has been created for year-round guest enjoyment. The garden includes poolside relaxation pods and sofas surrounding a fire pit, and a bespoke new vitality pool from Inspired Pools allows guests to enter from inside before moving outside through a free-flowing waterfall.

“We’ve been working very hard to bring The Spa Garden at Lanelay Hall to life, and are all extremely excited to open,” said Smith. “After such a tough year on hospitality and the population as a whole, we are really focusing on wellness. We’ve brought a unique concept to the area and I really believe that this will put us – and South Wales – on the map as a top UK spa destination.”
