Kirsty Groat appointed as Sothys UK's new national educator

The French skincare brand has also announced a new partnership with Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa

Kirsty Groat has joined the Sothys team as national educator, tasked with delivering first-class brand and treatment education to its spa partners.

She joins the luxury French spa and skincare brand from Green Farm, a boutique spa retreat in Kent, where she was spa manager and an in-house trainer.

In this role, she gained great exposure and recognition for training her spa team in Sothys brand standards and treatment protocols.

Groat says her ambition is to ensure all therapists are trained to the highest standard. “I want therapists to be as excited as I am about the differences you get with Sothys.

“It’s a historic family-run business, with more than 75 years in the industry, offering scientifically proven results from its treatments and products.

“Adequate training for all Sothys therapists is extremely important to the brand, as we believe all therapists are our brand ambassadors.”

New spa partnership for Sothys

Sothys has also announced a new partnership with Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa.

A historic country house hotel in Wiltshire that dates back to 1817, Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa this year launched new Garden Spa suites.

The hotel, which is part of Ian and Christa Taylor’s Kaleidoscope Collection, invested £120,000 into the two suites, which are decorated with upcycled furniture and feature a super king size bed, a Sothys treatment bed, a private hot tub and an outdoor slipper bath.

“Our brand-new Garden Spa suites have been carefully designed to offer our guests an escape from the daily grind and cater to the growing demand for wellness-focused getaways,” says Ashley Torr, general manager at Bishopstrow.

“The launch of the new suites, alongside our new partnership with Sothys ,is a significant step in our wellbeing offering.”

Sothys will offer a collection of results-driven skincare and sensorial rituals at Bishopstrow, including a premium menu offering exclusively for guests of the Garden Spa suites.
