Inhabit Hotels has appointed Maria Tsiarta as head of wellbeing at its upcoming Inhabit Queen’s Gardens property in Bayswater, London.

In her new role, Tsiarta will oversee the brand’s daily wellness activity offering at both Inhabit Queen’s Gardens and Inhabit Southwick Street.

Called ‘Inhale at Inhabit’, the brand’s wellness programme features Pilates, yin yoga, vinyasa flow and transformational Hatha yoga classes, as well as sound-healing therapy sessions and complimentary morning meditation.

Tsiarta will also work with wellbeing partners and guest experts to curate a series of educational workshops, lectures and events that aim to help guests reconnect and recharge.

“I'm thrilled to join Inhabit Hotels and be part of a brand that sees wellbeing as more than a service or a site-offering, but rather as an integral part of their identity.”

Additionally, she will be available for personalised wellbeing consultations, working with guests to create individualised holistic wellness plans for guests to implement both during their stay and beyond.

Tsiarta joins Inhabit Hotels with more than seven years’ experience as a wellbeing practitioner and yoga and Pilates teacher in her native Cyprus. She hopes to create a safe and motivational environment, where guests can connect to their healthiest selves and find true inner peace.

“I’m thrilled to join Inhabit Hotels and be part of a brand that sees wellbeing as more than a service or a site-offering, but rather as an integral part of their identity,” she said.

“I’m joining a team that supports the idea of living a mindful life and actively urges people to adopt yoga, meditation, a plant-based diet and the use of eco-friendly products in their lives. As head of wellbeing, it’s also my obligation and duty to help the team reach their potential both as people and as professionals. The goal is and will remain the same – help people live a healthier, more balanced life.”

Opening soon, Inhabit Queen’s Gardens will offer 159 bedrooms, as well as a subterranean wellness centre. Also called Inhabit at Inhale, the facility will include two treatment rooms and will be the first London spa to offer rituals and experiences from British artisanal skincare brand Gaia.

A meat-free restaurant and bar, a lounge area and library complete the hotel’s offering.
