Spanish skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini has announced two new spa partnerships in the UK.

The company, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, has introduced unique massage techniques used in four facials The Spa at Breedon Priory.

These facials, from the Timexpert range, include Rides Neo Age, to neutralise and inhibit micro-tensions while increasing natural collagen and elastin production, and Lift & Contour, Hydraluronic and Radiance C+ Illuminating Facial. This incorporates a patented formulation that increases the benefits of pure vitamin C by six times.

To complement the hands-on therapy, a massage ball is used to lift facial muscles, release tension and increase blood flow.

The Spa at Breedon Priory, in the East Midlands, is a day spa with facilities including a herbal steam room, Himalayan salt sauna and outdoor infinity-edge relaxation pool.

The spa also offers a private spa experience in its dedicated space, The Hideaway.

The Turkish Baths Harrogate

Britain’s most fully restored Victorian Turkish Baths, the Turkish Baths Harrogate has also announced a new partnership with Germaine de Capuccini.

Common during the Victorian era, only seven Turkish baths dating back to the 19th century now remain in the UK. None are as historically complete as Harrogate’s Turkish Baths, which opened in 1897 to offer the healing powers of local spring waters.

The Baths’ unique and intricate Moorish design has Islamic arches and screens, walls of vibrant glazed brickwork, arabesque painted ceilings and terrazzo floors.

“We’ve long admired the Turkish Baths Harrogate as it’s such a unique experience. They are the perfect partner to continue our growth through beautiful wellness experiences,” said Louise Godsil, UK regional account manager, Germaine De Capuccini.

The Baths now offers Germaine de Capuccini’s Feng Shui-inspired Aromatic Massage, whereby the therapist matches one of the brand’s five active oils to the guest’s zodiac sign to relieve tension and negative energy.

Other treatments include the Mediterranean Candle full-body massage and the Phytocare Baobab Ritual – an energising full-body massage and exfoliation using ethically sourced African Baobab seed oil.
