Dermalogica’s Clear Customer Experience Training programme has been awarded the Princess Royal Training Award (PRTA) for the second time.

The award recognises companies offering training and skills programmes that have had a measurable impact on their business over the past 12 months, including those that have used training to address changing business needs and national skill shortages throughout the pandemic.

Dermalogica was recognised alongside 45 other organisations from across the UK and is the only skincare brand to achieve the accolade in 2021.

The Dermalogica Clear Customer Experience programme was designed to empower Dermalogica business partners and therapists to deliver the best brand experience through education, personalisation and authentic human experiences.

Dermalogica aims to build positive relationships between therapists and their clients

Underpinned by customer service, communication, retail and technical skills, the training programme enables therapists to build positive relationships with their clients and deliver outstanding services.

“With education and skills-based training at the heart of what we do at Dermalogica we are immensely proud of achieving the Princess Royal Training Award,” said Dermalogica’s education manager, Candice Gardner.

“Securing five-star reviews, service booking and customer confidence in their personalised Skin Fitness Plans and programmes, the Clear Customer Experience programme is helping business bounce back post-pandemic,” she added.

Now in its sixth year, the PRTA was established by global skills development body City & Guilds to recognise employers offering outstanding training and development programmes based on three pillars. Firstly, that training positively impacts both the organisation and its employees; secondly, training and development are integral to the organisation; and thirdly, training is designed and delivered efficiently and effectively.
