Dormy House reopens its House Spa with new thermal suite

The boutique hotel has unveiled a new thermal suite and treatments from Proverb

Dormy House hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire, has reopened its House Spa with a new thermal suite followinga month-long renovation.

The 48sqm House Spa at Dormy House has also unveiled a new menu, with the addition of treatments from Proverb Skin.

The spa’s new multisensory thermal suite, by Ursell Pools and Wellness, offers guests a nature-fuelled healing journey with a fire and ice experience.

“We really wanted to develop a more immersive wellness experience for Dormy guests, incorporating elements of science and nature to deliver a unique thermal journey. Our guests can now get back to nature and experience a true fire and ice experience.”

“By mixing hot and cold experiences the body receives an internal and external workout, improving skin tone and appearance whilst delivering immense therapeutic benefits,” says Bobby Griffiths, spa manager at House Spa at Dormy House.

House Spa thermal facilities

Designed by Dormy House’s owner and design director, Nette Reynolds, facilities in the new thermal suite include an aromatic steam room, experience shower with forest mist and therapeutic Himalayan Salt sauna.

Supplied by TechnoAlpin, there is also a Snow Sky snow shower, which allows guests to stand among thick falling snowflakes.

Sustainable treatments with Proverb Skin

A new partnership with Proverb Skin will see the brand’s products and signature treatments featuring on the House Spa’s menu, alongside existing partner Temple Spa.

New offerings will include the high-performance 60-minute Proverb Natural Facelift facial, which combines specialised cardio HIIT with targeted massage techniques to help lift, contour and tone the skin.

“We have brought Zen, our onsite wellness centre, into the spa, and we’re extending our holistic offer by adding specialist Proverb treatments, wellness classes and mindful activities to the Dormy House itinerary,” explains Griffiths.

Spa facilities at Dormy House

At the heart of House Spa is the Greenhouse, a tranquil light-filled lounge. In the Bathing Room there is a candlelit 16m indoor infinity pool and on the outside Spa Terrace there is a hydrotherapy hot tub.

House Spa also has an i-sopod floatation tank which allows guests to escape the forces of gravity for deep relaxation.
