Cosmoprof 2022: Innovation from the show floor

European Spa reports from the 2022 event, which featured almost 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries

The 2022 edition of Cosmoprof took place at the Fieri Bologna exhibition centre in Bologna, Italy, this past weekend. The leading beauty industry event featured an extensive trade show with almost 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries, as well as a comprehensive educational programme with sessions in both English and Italian. 

European Spa was in attendance to bring you the event highlights directly from the show floor.

Germaine de Capuccini – Expert Lab

Spanish skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini showcased its latest innovation, Expert Lab, a range consisting of a series of results-driven chemical peels formulated with concentrated active ingredients.

A new high-tech device, called Mesoboost, enhances skin absorption, enabling the product to penetrate more deeply into the skin and boosting its efficacy.

The brand has also launched several new treatment protocols, as well as a series of pr- and post-treatment products to prepare, restore and optimise skin health.

Lemi — Amalfi

Leading spa equipment manufacturer Lemi has launched a new multi-purpose treatment chair called the Amalfi.

A tailor-made solution, Amalfi can be used in multiple configurations as a treatment bed or a pedicure chair, and is equipped with a foot basin that can be concealed by a cushion.

The bed, like all Lemi products, also has several customisation options, including numerous fabric options, base and wood finishes.

Skeyndor — Spa Senses, Jewels from Nature

Spa Senses, Jewels from Nature by luxury spa and skincare brand Skeyndor combines sensory wellness experiences with precious natural ingredients.

Described as ‘a range inspired by nature to awaken the senses’, the range consists of three rituals; Pure Scrubs, Authentic Wraps and Priceless Massages, each with their own collection of products.

 

Treatwell — Treatwell Pro

Beauty booking platform Treatwell has unveiled its brand new spa and salon management software.

Treatwell Pro is an entire spa management system enabling spa operators to manage bookings, organise staff rotas, access client data, manage treatment rooms, organise staff rotas and much more.

Senso Naturale — Solid Cosmetics

Capitalising on the emerging trend for water-free cosmetics, Italy-based organic skincare brand Senso Naturale exhibited its comprehensive range of solid skincare products.

The brand formulates its products using only the best natural ingredients and features several ranges including skincare, haircare, body care and even a baby range.

Products include solid shampoo and conditioner, body oils, face serums, cleansers and scrubs.

Psychiatrist Valentina Pellegrino delivered a session on the link between emotional wellbeing and the physical body

This year’s show was host to the World Massage Meeting, presented in partnership with CIDESCO and the European Massage Association (EMA), with sessions from leading massage experts such as Phenomenal Touch Massage founder Leslie Bruder, EMA president Ivan Conversano, psychiatrist Valentina Pellegrino and CIDESCO International president and Raison d’Etre managing director Anna-Cari Gund.
