Champneys spa opens at Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club

Renowned British spa brand Champneys has opened its first international spa, at the Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club in Andalusia, Spain.

The new spa offers a complete menu of Champneys therapies, from massages and facials to hydrotherapy, saunas and fitness experiences.

Staying true to the signature Champneys style, guests can expect to find traditional treatments featured on the spa menu. These include Champneys 100-Years Young Facial and the Tide of Tranquillity signature treatment.

Therapies are in partnership with Elemis and Spanish organic skincare line, Scens.

Facilities at Champneys Spa at Gran Marbella include six treatment sanctuaries with REM treatment beds, a dynamic hydrotherapy pool and an ambient relaxation pool by Urbaneja.

There is also a cold plunge pool, a classic bucket shower, hot tub, sauna and traditional hammam by Saunabrick, plus sensory shower experiences to complete the thermal journey.

Champneys Spa will place particular focus on contrast therapy. The principles of moving between heat experiences and cold immersion will underpin the spa journey for a restorative and health focused experience.

Wellness in action

The spa also has a Technogym equipped gym and a studio space, offering a mix of classes from energising movement to mindfulness. Designed for every pace and preference, expert instructors guide guests in a space that inspires balance, focus and wellbeing for the ultimate personalised experience.

Part of Iconic Hotels & Resorts, the Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club opened last summer. Spa suppliers include towels by BC Softwear and uniforms by Florence Roby.

The brand is known for properties including Cliveden House and Chewton Glen and Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido.

Founded in 1925, Champneys celebrated its 100^th anniversary last year. The brand now has four spa resorts, two spa hotels and two city spa locations.
