Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced plans for a new resort in the southern Italian coastal region of Puglia.
The upcoming Four Seasons property will feature 150 bedrooms and suites with accommodation housed in villa-style units, all facing the sea.
The destination spa will include a fitness centre, ten treatment rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a swimming pool and a yoga studio.
Designed by international firm HKS Architects, which has previously worked with the luxury hospitality group on projects in the Bahamas, Tunis and Egypt. Four Seasons Puglia will be built in partnership with Omnam Investment Group, led by David Zisser.
President and CEO of Four Seasons, John Davison, said: “As we grow as a brand, our focus is on opening hotels in the world’s best travel destinations and markets where we can introduce an elevated luxury experience. The Puglia project is perfect to expand our presence in Italy and we look forward to setting the standard for luxury hospitality in this beautiful region.”
