Vilasa introduces marocMaroc candle massage

Vilasa, the UK and Irish distributor for marocMaroc, has introduced the Moroccan brand’s Awaken the Senses candle massage to its professional spa partners.

MarocMaroc is renowned for creating spa experiences based on the traditional hammam experience and bringing a contemporary edge to its product and treatment offering.

The Awaken the Senses candle massage treatment draws on ancient Moroccan healing to treat the body and spirit with the soothing heat of the Paillettes d’Ambre candle.

Designed to promote relaxation and calm, the treatment begins with a series of stretches, to warm and extend the muscles in preparation for the massage. During the ritual, the warmed candle melts to oil releasing the amber, vanilla and musk oils that work to revitalise and calm with every massage stroke.

Circular massage movements release tension from the body and rhythmic movements incorporate traditional symmetrical techniques. After gentle rocking to bring harmony to body and spirit, the ritual is completed with the application of a fine mist of rose-perfumed water.

The Awaken the Senses treatment is currently available in spas at the Ritz Carlton Dubai, Fairmont Geneva and Raffles Dubai.
