Moods, the modern aromatherapy and wellbeing brand, has launched its Treatment Massages concept at Gleneagles, introducing a Scotland-exclusive collection of performance-led spa experiences at the iconic Perthshire hotel.

The partnership expands Gleneagles’ existing spa menu with a range of treatments designed to support recovery, stress reduction, sleep and physical restoration.

Guests can expect a combination of sophisticated bodywork, clinically-proven neuroaromatic blends and cutting-edge Therabody technology. It offers what the team refer to as ‘performance wellness’ at this destination hotel.

Joanne Young - Spa Manager at Gleneagles

"Luxury wellness is evolving beyond pampering alone. Guests are increasingly seeking treatments that leave them feeling physically restored, mentally refreshed and better equipped for the demands of modern life. Moods brings a distinctive and innovative approach to this growing category, and we are delighted to welcome the collection to Gleneagles."

Following a consultation with a therapist, or by way of a diagnostic tool, guests are matched with one of eight clinically proven neuroaromatic blends.

The blends are tailored to different wellbeing objectives, including sleep and stress support, recovery and performance, grounding and balance, focus, energy, positivity, confidence and hormonal balance.

Each treatment is also paired with a corresponding soundscape, intended to reinforce the sensory and restorative elements of the experience.

Specialist rituals target key wellbeing needs

Alongside the flagship treatment, the new menu includes three Enhanced Rituals, available in 80- and 110-minute formats.

Each combines a targeted massage protocol with a dedicated Moods blend and Therabody technology.

The ‘Chill’ Sleep & Stress Management Massage focuses on calming the nervous system through Swedish massage, acupressure, neuromuscular techniques and vibration therapy.

The ‘Fit’ Performance & Muscular Recovery Massage combines deep-tissue massage, myofascial release and percussion therapy to support mobility and recovery.

Meanwhile, the ‘Euphoric’ Lymphatic Drainage & Body Reset Massage is designed to stimulate circulation, reduce fluid retention and promote a sense of lightness, using lymphatic techniques and vibration therapy.

A growing focus on performance-led luxury wellness

Moods launched in 2025 and positions its natural aromatic blends as ‘sensory supplements’ formulated to support mood, mindset and mental wellbeing.

The company’s retail products are stocked by retailers including Space NK and Selfridges, while its MoodsPro division works with luxury hotels and spas. The brand debuted at the Chancery Rosewood in London with a collection of unique treatments and is expanding globally through select Rosewood properties.

“From day one, Gleneagles was at the very top of our wishlist,” said Gregory Allen & Daniel Smith, co-founders, Moods. “Its spa has long set the standard for luxury wellness in Scotland and is widely regarded as the finest in the UK.”

“To see our Treatment Massages launch in such an iconic setting is incredibly special. We are excited for the exceptional Gleneagles therapists and wider team to bring this new generation of wellness experiences to their discerning guests.”
