Gaia Skincare has revealed its newest European spa partnership is with Aukstoji Liskiava Spa in Lithuania. Set within the pine forests of Dzukija, Aukstoji Liskiava is a newly opened nature-led wellness destination and medical retreat.

The spa experience is designed as a holistic journey, where guests move between treatments, sauna rituals, hydrotherapy and rest.

Natural elements such as pure air, cold water, medicinal plants and algae play a central role in treatments and rituals.

The partnership with Gaia Skincare is said to reflect a shared philosophy that wellbeing should be sensory, intentional and deeply connected to the natural environment.

Aukstoji Liskiava has integrated a curated menu of Gaia rituals including Raindrop Therapy, the Jade Crystal facial ritual and Indian head massage.

Under the slogan ‘come to return to yourself’ the spa’s facilities include a Lithuanian waterfall sauna where it offers rituals with whisks and forest breathing therapy. It also offers detoxifying seaweed treatments by Voya.

UK partnerships

In the UK, Gaia Skincare has announced a new partnership with the Historic House Hotels collection, introducing experiences at Middlethorpe Hall and Spa in York, Bodysgallen Hall and Spa in Llandudno, Wales, and Hartwell House and Spa in Aylesbury.

The spa experiences have been designed to complement the individual character and heritage of each hotel.

“The introduction of Gaia feels like a natural extension of what we offer at Historic House Hotels,” said Bodysgallen co-spa manager, Amanda Durkin. “It brings an enhanced sense of self-care and mindfulness allowing guests to fully unwind and focus on the tranquillity of our historic surroundings.”

Originally launched in Gaia’s flagship spa at Boringdon Hall in Devon, the MenoPAUSE treatment can now be taught via a new digital training model, enabling spa partners to introduce the treatment with ease.

Lastly, the brand has launched a new Affinity Face Experience for those living with or recovering from cancer – an addition to its body treatment, the Affinity Cancer Experience.

The facial is certified by CIBTAC, with Gaia recognised as an approved training provider by the SATCC. It will launch at Boringdon Hall and is suitable for guests undergoing or recovering from cancer, as well as those managing medical conditions and disabilities.

“Having gone through a cancer journey with a family member, I appreciate that sometimes you just need a break from it all and permission not to think about what’s happening. This is an opportunity to be normal, live life, grasp the moment and make that day a good day.”
