Sanctum, the unique mind-body movement experience, has launched its first digital platform, bringing the essence of the live experience into a digital space.

Founded by Luuk Melisse and Gabriel Olszewski, Sanctum’s signature movement sequence blends kundalini yoga, qigong, Zen Buddhism, animalistic flow and breathwork. It is all set to a cinematic soundscape inspired by Amsterdam’s electronic scene.

Sanctum describes itself as a way to guide participants to their physical edge and mindful euphoria by unlocking potential.

The new Sanctum Digital platform has been created to help users globally to release emotion, allowing them to reconnect with their body and elevate energy at any time.

The app is available as an in-room wellness experience for hotel guests either via a QR code or integrated directly into an in-room device or entertainment system.

A living extension of the Sanctum community

Sanctum is known for its immersive, music-driven movement rituals, which take place in iconic locations around the world.

The new Sanctum Digital sessions are offered in bite-size formats as well as deeper, immersive journeys, allowing users to choose what they need in the moment.

As well as in-room experiences, the brand is looking to create a small number of personalised content journeys for hotel partners. These will be exclusively developed to reflect the partner hotel’s unique identity.

“At the heart of Sanctum Digital is the Frequency Arc, a way for users to track and reflect on how their energy and inner state evolve over time. Rather than focusing on scores, metrics or performance, the platform centres on felt experience, awareness and presence.”

Luuk Melisse

Co-founder, Sanctum

“Sanctum Digital does not replace our live practice. The digital platform acts as a living extension, supporting the community between moments of coming together,” said Luuk Melisse, co-founder, Sanctum

“Last year, we hosted over 1,000 live Sanctum experiences around the world and still, one thought kept returning: how can we offer access to the Sanctum community globally. I wanted to build something authentic, touching, empowering and truly aligned with the physical Sanctum experience.”

The app features a range of class formats including Sanctum Signature Sequences, which are complete, music-driven journeys combining movement, breath and emotional release.

Sanctum Activations are short, uplifting sessions while Sanctum Meditations offer grounding practices to slow down, soften and integrate. There are also Sanctum Immersive Walks – guided outdoor movement designed to reconnect users with their surroundings

The journeys have been created by Melisse and are led by him, alongside a collective of experienced Sanctum Master Guides.

Immerse and ignite

Sanctum partners with Kerzner International’s SIRO hotels in Montenegro and Dubai, and Hagastrand in Stockholm, Sweden.

The brand hosts pop-up events with Six Senses globally and has announced founders Luuk Melisse and Gab Olszewki will lead wellness residency at Cap Juluca in Anguilla this May.

The four-night residency – Wellness Within Sanctum – will run from May 28 to June 1 and feature spa rituals and signature Sanctum classes

Sanctum has also revealed plans to host its first event in Copenhagen at progressive wellness and longevity space One Thirty Lab on May 2.
