Zannier Hotels will open the doors to its newly transformed Mediterranean island retreat, Île de Bendor, in the south of France, on May 1.

The 93-room Zannier Île de Bendor hotel will also be home to the Rēsonance spa. Offering a distinctive approach to holistic wellbeing, Rēsonance’s core belief is that wellbeing begins with a deeper understanding of oneself.

The 1,200sqm wellness centre will offer five transformative programmes and a pioneering bioresonance-led approach to personalised wellbeing.

Facilities will include eight treatment rooms, a hammam, indoor and outdoor pools, mud baths and cryotherapy.

“Our vision with Rēsonance is to empower guests to connect deeply with their own body and energy. It's a journey of self-awareness and subtle transformation, providing tools and guidance so individuals can restore balance, wherever they are in life.”

Founder, Zannier Hotels

Shaping each stay with precision and intention

An initial bioresonance consultation will be used to highlight patterns related to stress, energy and overall balance. Advanced wellbeing assessment technology maps the body’s energetic and physiological state, providing a clear starting point for the guest’s chosen programme.

Results will include a structured reading of the body’s current state, which will be translated into practical guidance, helping define a path before any treatment begins.

“A spirit of sharing runs through Rēsonance – the quiet transmission of knowledge, awareness and a renewed connection to self,” said Arnaud Zannier, founder of Zannier Hotels.

“In a wellness landscape that often promises much, it offers something more grounded: a philosophy rooted in how we feel and what the body truly needs.”

All treatments, movement practices and nutrition will be selected in collaboration with the retreat’s newly appointed naturopath and wellness director, Élise Rimbaud, alongside the wellbeing chef.

“Each guest is unique and must learn to tap into the body’s own resources. The bioresonance scan provides a mirror for the body’s energy, guiding each personalised path,” said Rimbaud.

“This is why we named our wellness philosophy Rēsonance. It reflects the layers of insight, balance and awareness.”

Five signature wellness programmes

The programming will span digestive and emotional balance, conscious movement, feminine and masculine vitality, and radiant beauty.

The Florea programme will focus on digestive harmony, supporting the microbiome from the inside out.

Serena – the Art of Letting Go is a programme dedicated to stress release and emotional restoration. At its core is Aqua Rēsonance, an immersive aquatic experience inspired by Watsu and Atma Janzu.

Harmonia will focus on hormonal vitality and balance, addressing inner harmony through Kundalini yoga, somatic practices and the restorative renaissance rite of passage ritual, which supports moments of transition.

Maestria will offer energetic awakening for the performance-minded traveller and lastly Lumea will promote radiant skin from within. The Lumea programme will combine Augustinus Bader facials with Apoticari treatments, a brand rooted in plant-based apothecary traditions.

Sensorial and energetic

The movement offering will include a racket sports complex, fitness centre, yoga and reformer Pilates studio, plus a yoga deck above the Neptune Garden. There will also be a tennis court and three pickleball courts.
