Resort and destination operator Six Senses is set to enter the UAE market with Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, a new hotel and residences on the Palm Jumeirah’s West Crescent private beach in Dubai.

The result of a partnership with property developer Select Group, Six Senses The Palm, Dubai is scheduled to open in late 2024 and will offer a 61-room hotel and 162 branded private residences.

At its heart will be the 5,574sqm Six Senses Social and Wellness Club offering a longevity clinic, IV and biohacking lounges, a massage circuit pool, a squash court and working spaces, as well as the Six Senses Spa, which will offer a range of recovery treatments and reconnection programmes said to be ‘key to helping guests, members and residents thrive.’

Recreational facilities including a central garden, landscaped areas, tennis courts, padel courts, running tracks and a micro-farm complete the offering.

Inspired by the significance of coral reefs and Dubai’s preservation efforts, the resort’s architecture will feature undulating rooftops and cellular facades designed to mimic coral’s natural form and create beautiful environments that are protected from the sun.

In addition, the resort, which is LEED-certified, is aiming to become a benchmark for wellness while supporting sustainable development, with the region having ramped up its sustainability efforts alongside Six Senses’ commitment to sustainability.

“Six Senses The Palm, Dubai, marks a new milestone for the brand as it enters this remarkable destination,” said Six Senses CEO Neil Jacobs.

“From the bottom of the ocean to the signature rooftop bar, our concept celebrates the natural beauty of the Gulf, the solidarity and hospitality between host and visitors, and the journey that Dubai has been on, with its unique Emirati traditions and bubbling optimism.”

Rahail Aslam, founder and CEO of Select Group, said: “We are delighted to partner with Six Senses to introduce the highly-acclaimed brand to the UAE. Six Senses has a distinct proposition with a strong heritage, coupled with its inherent commitment to sustainability and wellness, which we believe is a perfect fit for the Palm Jumeirah community.”
