SHA Mexico Residences to debut in 2022

Building on the success of the original SHA clinic in Spain, SHA Mexico Residences has been confirmed to open in 2022.

The development will offer a ‘complete immersion’ in the SHA lifestyle, balancing permanent access to SHA’s global team of 300 health and medical experts with the exclusivity of a private home.

Located just north of the Riviera Maya, in front of Isla Mujeres, SHA Mexico will be surrounded by seven hectares of indigenous flora and half a kilometre of beach as well as boasting a 6,000sqm wellness and clinic area.

Mexican architectural firm Sordo Madaleno and interior architect Alejandro Escudero have been chosen to to lead the design. The building will rise to different heights, cohesively existing alongside gardens, mangroves and natural cenotes and be built with the highest possible water and energy efficiency. Interior design flourishes will include white marble, natural fibres and fabrics, native woods, regional handicrafts and pottery.
