Iconic London store Liberty has partnered with British wellbeing brand Wildsmith to create the Treehouse by Wildsmith, offering treatment and retail space.

Having successfully delivered 400 facials through its summer pop-up residency at the famous department store, the Wildsmith team is proud to launch its new treatment space. The Treehouse by Wildsmith hosts sensorial facials and body treatments designed for 30 or 60-minute delivery.

European Spa’s founding editor, Sarah Camilleri, was the first guest to try out the Treehouse at Liberty. She experienced the 60-minute Wildsmith Radical Botany Facial, which is also available to book as a 30-minute version.

“Spa pop-ups are such an ingenious way to bring premium spa services to new audiences, going beyond the typical spa setting to build brand awareness.”

“Liberty’s is famous for its fabrics and I love how a former fabric storage space on the store’s fourth floor has been transformed into a calm, woodland treatment space. It has all the ingenious Wildsmith touches,” said Camilleri.

“Spa pop-ups are such an ingenious way to bring premium spa services to new audiences, going beyond the typical spa setting to build brand awareness.

“Wildsmith spa treatments allow customers to step away from the bustling store and entering a peaceful woodland glade. Gentle birdsong and the projected tree canopy surround the treatment couch. This gently slows things down and creates the right ambience.”

“My expert therapist, Wildsmith brand specialist Katie Clifford, began the treatment with some guided breathwork before delivering the facial’s protocols with expert hands,” said Camilleri.

“Purpose-driven and memorable, the Wildsmith Radical Botany Facial worked with circadian oils and a set of movements. Katie used personalised Wildsmith products to leave my skin glowing and re-energised.”

The Treehouse by Wildsmith is a permanent addition to the iconic store’s beauty service offering.

“Following the incredible response to the Wildsmith House pop-up earlier this year, it was clear that our customers thoroughly enjoyed Wildsmith’s treatments,” says Natalie Guselli, head of beauty and commercial at Liberty. “The pop-up offered a unique blend of immersive nature-inspired experiences and clinically proven treatments.

“The Treehouse recreates this perfectly, offering a serene escape high above the hustle and bustle of the store in Soho. Guests can indulge in a unique experience exploring the profound connection between nature, wellbeing, and beauty.”

"Since our successful collaboration with the Wildsmith House, Liberty has felt like a natural London home for Wildsmith. We are thrilled to have been welcomed as a permanent partner."

Delivered on a Gharieni treatment couch, the Radical Botany Facial focuses on rapidly increasing moisture levels in the skin.

Guided breathwork and relaxing myofascial bodywork on the hands, legs and feet ensures the removal of tension and stress. Guests are also treated to a dry head massage together with cranial sacral holds to restore balance.

“Built on a fundamental belief that everyone and everything is connected, we take the approach that true wellbeing flourishes when mind, body and the environment exist in harmony,” Wildsmith general manager Katherine Pye told European Spa.

“This belief shapes how we blend plant power with cutting edge scientific innovation to create our products and experiences to restore, rejuvenate and nourish.”
