Virtuagym PRO+ aims to boost revenue

Leading technology provider Virtuagym has globally launched an online fitness membership solution called PRO+.

Intended to enable gym and studio operators to generate revenue while being closed as well as upon reopening, PRO+ works through a mobile app that includes weekly community updates on nutrition, training and wellness, as well as more than 200 virtual trainer workouts, monthly prize challenges and a library of audio meditations.

“From January to October last year, Virtuagym saw a 175% increase in group class bookings, with people eager to stay connected when training, either in a physical location or online,” said Hugo Braam, CEO of Virtuagym.

“As clubs are closed, it is essential for providers to adopt digital technology to keep their members engaged and revenue going.”
