The Grove partners with Effect Doctors

Luxury hotel and spa The Grove has announced a new partnership with medical concierge service Effect Doctors.

The initiative will enable The Grove to deliver proactive healthcare to hotel guests and Sequoia Spa members.

Joining the growing trend for offering IV Infusions, first reported by European Spa in our Spring 2023 issue, Effect Doctors IV drips will join a menu of holistic therapies available at Sequoia Spa including hypnotherapy and reflexology.

Debbie Rogers, spa director at The Grove, says: “We’re thrilled to be able to offer Effect Doctors’ treatments to guests who are looking to take a more medical-first approach to their wellbeing.

“The team’s arrival comes at a pivotal time as we look to expand our offering at Sequoia to include more alternative treatments for guests.”

The growing trend for IV drip infusions

Effect Doctors will have a team of trained doctors and nurses from their London clinic at Sequoia Spa delivering wellness-boosting IV drip infusions every Tuesday.

Each treatment will last between 60 and 90 minutes and deliver specific benefits designed to help with fatigue, inflammation, chronic pain, immune support or anti-aging.

Effect Doctors IV treatments are selected from a doctor-led library of bespoke intravenous infusions, formulated to suit each client.

Health assessments and screening

In addition, Effect Doctors will offer specialised intramuscular shots of selected vitamins and medications as well as a proactive healthcare offering.

This consists of a comprehensive health assessment, screening and diagnostic blood tests followed up with a detailed doctor’s report and treatment plan.

IV Drip Infusions will sit alongside personalised Wellness for Cancer therapies and new signature Bamford treatments on offer at Sequoia.

Earlier this year, Montcalm East also introduction IV infusions provided by Reviv as part of its Grown Alchemist facials.
