Soho House group partners with Lava Shells to offer enhanced signature massage

Lava Shells will be incorporated into Soho House’s bespoke signature massage, following a new partnership between spa treatment provider Shared Beauty Secrets and the private members club group. 

Therapists at the group’s Cowshed Spas and Soho Health Clubs around the world will undergo training with Shared Beauty Secrets’ international trainer Vanessa Franklin, where they will be taught how to use the heated Lava Shells to aid relaxation, soothe aches and pains, boost circulation and reduce swelling and water retention.

“It has been such a joy training the Soho House health club team, who have such a beautiful approach to their guests’ wellbeing,” said Franklin. 

“I’ve taught them how to use Lava Shells as an extension of their hands, enabling them to use the warm shells freestyle to suit each guests’ individual needs,” she added.

The enhanced treatment has already launched at the Soho Health Club in Rome, Italy, and will be rolled out to London clubs throughout December 2021, before launching globally in 2022.

“Everything we do at Soho House is driven by our members and how we can their membership better,” said Soho Health Club group director, Reena Hammer. 

“We’re excited to introduce the Lava Shells tools to give an enhanced massage experience,” Hammer added. 

Soho House is the latest to partner with Shared Beauty Secrets to offer Lava Shells treatments, other partners include Urban Retreat, Center Parcs, Calcot Manor and Champneys, as well as  Danesfield House, Eden Hall, Hoar Cross Hall, The Marker, Handpicked Hotels, Pure Spas, The Newt, Bannatyne Spas
