HigherDose Sauna Blanket enables touch-free, in-spa and at-home treatments

HigherDose has launched its Sauna Blanket, an at-home, portable version of an infrared sauna that offers hotels and spas the option to add no-touch wellness offerings in-room, or at the spa or gym.

HigherDose operates a group of premier infrared sauna spas in New York, US and worked with Dr. Raleigh Duncan, founder of Clearlight Saunas, to develop the sauna blanket concept.

Using infrared heat, the blankets increase the body’s thermal energy and promote a temporary increase in blood flow to encourage sweating and detoxification.

The blankets are made from waterproof polyurethane fireproof cotton and have been crafted with healing tourmaline, clay and charcoal to generate negative ions. Made from non-toxic materials, extremely low in electric and magnetic fields, the cocoons hold in radiation from the body while people enjoy the relaxing and rejuvenating heat.
