Quinta do Lago resort, situated in the heart of the Portugal’s Algarve, has launched a new ‘farm to fork’ initiative, designed to nurture residents and protect their health during lockdown.
The resort now delivers homegrown, immunity-boosting juices to residents’ front doors to kickstart their day. The juices are a firm favourite at Quinta’s Pure Café, where they press organic ingredients into nutritious drinks, all made from the resort’s very own sustainable Quinta Farm.
The 2,100sqm Quinta Farm usually supplies the resort’s 12 restaurants with unbeatable, fresh produce, so while the restaurants and bars are shut, Quinta do Lago’s juice strategy aims to ensure no ingredients go to waste.
Quinta do Lago is situated in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve offering an active outdoor lifestyle for guests all year round. It offers dedicated sports facilities including sophisticated rehabilitation and wellness services to aid recovery and prevent injuries.
Post-activity targeted massages include deep tissue, sport and Swedish techniques, and guests can also benefit from hydrotherapy and physiotherapy to aid physical recovery.
