The Phoenicia Malta has enhanced its wellness offering with the addition of a 1,200sqm spa in collaboration with French brand Deep Nature.

Designed by local architects AP Valletta to be ‘meditative and soothing’, the spa has been created around the hotel’s 16th century fortifications with a concept intended to echo ancient Roman baths.

Generous and airy spaces, large windows and clean, modern lines contrast with and complement the building’s traditional stone construction.

The spa's five treatment rooms are suspended on a mezzanine level above the pool

The treatment menu will feature signature massages and experiences of 45, 60 and 75 minutes in length, all of which will use Deep Nature’s natural, mineral-based products.

The spa’s facilities include five treatment rooms located on a mezzanine above a swimming pool with treatment beds supplied by Lemi; a fitness suite; a studio; a relaxation lounge; a salt room and a steam room.

The Phoenicia Malta is located within more than seven acres of landscaped gardens extending to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the City of Valletta. To find out more, click below
