Lifestyle hospitality brand OKU Hotels is to open a second European property – in Ibiza – in April 2021, following the soft opening of OKU Kos this summer.
Located in the foothills near to Cala Gracio bay and beaches, OKU Ibiza will offer guests an intimate spa with five treatment rooms including one couples’ room. Its treatment menu will use all-natural products in an effort to ‘blend ancient traditions with modern advances’.
Guests will be able to enjoy daily yoga in the rooftop yoga shala as well as other facilities including a fitness studio equipped by NOHrD & Casall.
OKU Ibiza will feature a minimalist design inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
Built by MG&AG Architects and OKU’s in-house design team, the property will be home to what is said to be Ibiza’s largest swimming pool. Other facilities at OKU Ibiza will include 184 guestrooms and suites and a standalone four-bedroom villa with a private pool.
Launched in 2020, OKU Hotels is a luxury collection owned and managed by Hotel Brands International Limited.
