Hotel Les Haras unveils new NUXE Spa

Les Haras hotel in Strasbourg has unveiled a large extension to its facilities, including a new NUXE Spa.

The French beauty brand has specifically developed the treatment menu for Les Haras Hotel where facilities include an 18m lap pool, experiential showers, a Turkish bath and a sauna as well as a relaxation room with garden views plus two single and one double treatment room.

Located at the entrance to the historic Petite France district, the Strasbourg Haras tasked interior designers and architects Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku of Jouin Manku to create the spa, as well as three meeting rooms and 60 additional bedrooms.

An old tunnel was also rehabilitated to link the two buildings and space and light has been used to create a peaceful atmosphere in materials and claddings, including oak, moasic tiles and Corian basins, chosen to engage the senses with visual references to Chinese medicine and herbal therapy.

The 19th century building that houses the new NUXE spa is positioned across the street from the main hotel. Due to the history of the building and the prominent location of the spa, the designers explained that the project “called for us to be especially attentive to the physical and emotional experience of the guests.”
