New spa manager for Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa

Lorna Jankovic joins the Spa at Aghadoe team to strengthen the guest journey

Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa in Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland has appointed Lorna Jankovic as its new spa manager.

Jankovic has more than 18 years’ international experience within luxury hospitality and wellness, having worked across Ireland, Malta, London and Lisbon.

Her background includes senior roles with The Shelbourne Hotel Dublin, Dunboyne Castle Hotel and Spa, and with the Corinthia group across various locations.

Authentic wellness offerings

As well as overseeing the daily spa operation, Jankovic’s new spa manager role will including supporting and developing the team, while continuing to enhance the guest wellness experience.

“A big part of my role is ensuring the spa feels welcoming, calming and memorable for every guest, while continuing to evolve the wellness offering in a way that feels authentic to both the hotel and the surrounding beauty of Kerry,” she says.

“My focus over the first six months is to strengthen the guest journey and introduce thoughtful wellness ideas that encourage guests to properly relax and recharge,” continues Jankovic.

“My vision is to continue developing the spa experience, while building on the strong luxury foundation already in place. Kerry itself offers such a unique sense of calm and connection to nature’ I believe that should form part of the wellness journey here.

“Wellness today is becoming far more intentional, with guests increasingly looking for experiences that help them reconnect and rebalance. My goal is to create a spa that’s genuinely restorative, offering holistic and nature-inspired experiences that stay with guests long after they return home.”

Overlooking the Lakes of Killarney, the Spa at Aghadoe offers a 15m indoor pool, hot tub and thermal suite, with treatments in partnership with Ground Wellbeing, Seabody and Comfort Zone.

Refurbishment plans are currently in development for the spa part of the hotel’s continued investment in guest wellbeing and wellness experiences.

The spa has also recently introduced two new Gharinei wellness beds, the Welnamis & iDome, helping to further enhance relaxation experiences and support the evolving wellness offering at the property.
