Natura Bissé names new MD for UK & Ireland

Stefanie Mach will replace Albert Traveria as UK & Ireland managing director of Spanish brand Natura Bissé.

She brings more than 15 years’ experience in high-profile positions in luxury retail, business development and e-commerce as well as the beauty and fashion industry.

Mach has spent the last few years consulting to c-Suite teams on brand strategy, business development and growth, client experience, CRM programmes, e-commerce and digital transformation for luxury brands.

Strengthening relationships

Mach has previously held various leadership positions, focusing on developing new markets through commercial strategic partnerships across regions including the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Since late 2021, she has been supporting the launch of Natura Bissé’s website and brand communication efforts in the UK and Ireland.

“It is an immense honour to lead the team in the UK & Ireland and work towards expanding the brand’s presence in the region,” said Mach.

“Over the next 12 months, our vision for the UK spa channel is to establish Natura Bissé as a top-tier player in the industry by continuing to innovate.

“We will focus on exceptional experiences, prioritising sustainability, strengthening the relationships with current partners and building mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.”

Albert Traveria, the departing managing director of Natura Bissé International, added: “I am sure that with Stefanie’s leadership, innovative approach and passion we will be able to identify new opportunities and take Natura Bissé to the next level.”

Founded in Barcelona in 1979 by the late Ricardo Fisas, Natura Bissé delivers an estimated seven million treatments every year in 35 countries around the world.

It’s body rituals and a collection of vegan products are designed to be a ‘gift for the soul’.

In 2022, the brand opened a purpose-built new headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, designed by leading Spanish architects Juan Trias de Bes and Marta Pascua of TbD.

The purpose-built 15,000sqm Casa-Fábrica is located in Barcelona’s Synchrotron Park. It houses the central offices, as well as a manufacturing area, research and development centre, warehouse and test spa.
