Medical Wellness Congress to explore the integration of health and wellness

The Medical Wellness Congress (MWC) is gearing up for its first-ever event in Austria on June 27-28. 

The event, which has experienced several delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held at the St Martins Spa & Lodge outside Vienna. 

For its inaugural event, the MWC will explore the topic of ‘The Healing Power of Self-Awareness and the Integration of Health in Wellness,’ bringing together wellness experts and medical practitioners who share a common goal – to enhance the physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing of their clients.

The event will consist of seven conferences, where both industry experts and medical practitioners will share their vision for the medical wellness sector. 

Chenot Group COO and scientific director Dr George Gaitanos will open the event with a keynote speech entitled ‘Integrating Health into Wellness; the Chenot Perspective.’ 

The line-up will also include talks from international wellness and hospitality expert Andrew Gibson; spa architect and Studio Apostoli founder Alberto Apostoli and Health Tourism CEO Laszlo Pucko.

Other speakers include Rainer Bolsinger, CSO & CMO of Artofcryo.com, a division of L&R Kältetechnik; Martin Goldman, CEO of ASPA; and Bärbel Frey, MD of Aqua Dome thermal spa in Austria. 

The event will also feature a series of workshops and networking opportunities hosted by brands such as Olivier Claire, Biologique Recherche, Gharieni, Crystal Connexion, Artofcryo.com and Corpoderm. 

The MWC is organised by Health and Beauty France, a subsidiary of Bolognafiere Cosmoprof, and managed by Pradip Bala with support from Vladi Kovanic, founder of ForumHOTel&Spa.
