Luxury hotelier Maybourne Hotel Group has revealed plans to debut in Paris in 2027.

Maybourne Saint-Germain, the group’s second property in France, will feature an outpost of its new wellness and longevity brand, Surrenne.

Surrenne, first launched at the Emory in London in 2024, will sit at the heart of the new French property.

Maybourne has confirmed that Surrenne will be a key feature in all of its pipeline hotel developments.

“Paris, with its elegance and timeless style, is an ideal match for Maybourne’s vision of luxury hospitality,” said Gianluca Muzzi, Co-CEO of Maybourne.

“This opening marks an exciting step in our strategy to grow selectively in key urban gateways around the world.”

Surrenne will feature in all of Maybourne's future hotel developments

Located in the Parisian quarter of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, along the Rive Gauche, the Maybourne Saint-Germain will be a palace-style hotel. It will offer 50 suites and 51 rooms plus 23 ultra-luxury branded residences.

The hotel will be housed within the 17th-century landmark Îlot Saint-Germain, which the group is transforming.

The residences will be designed by French interior designers Pierre-Yves Rochon and Laura Gonzalez. They will include a dedicated residents-only pool, and offer access to the hotel’s rooftop pool.

The Surrenne concept is committed to evidence-based methodologies and diagnostics backed by neuroscience

Maybourne’s Surrenne

Surrenne was conceptualised by Inge Theron, creative director of spa and wellness design for Maybourne.

It is founded on science-backed, evidence-based protocols in an environment that feels like home.

Speaking exclusively to European Spa at the launch of Surrenne at the Emory in London, Theron said: “Surrenne signals a new era of ultra-luxury social wellbeing. Our concept was co-created with the thought leaders of our generation.

“I’m obsessed with results and to get great results, everything must be evidence-based and data-driven. Surrenne takes advantage of the incredibly fast paced innovation that we’re currently seeing within our industry in diagnostics and wearables.”
