King Street Townhouse Gym and Spa opens in Manchester

A new subterranean spa and wellness retreat has opened at the King Street Townhouse hotel in Manchester, UK. 

Located in a Grade II-listed Italian Renaissance building just outside the city centre, the King Street Townhouse Gym & Spa forms part of the THG Experience portfolio and was designed by EPR architects. 

Taking a 360-degree approach to wellness, the spa encompasses four treatment rooms, a spa lounge and spa restaurant. As well as a thermal suite outfitted with a eucalyptus steam room, ice fountain and heated loungers and an immune-boosting Himalayan salt cave.

Exclusive brand partnership

In a UK exclusive, the spa has partnered with Perricone MD to offer a range of bespoke, results-driven facial treatments.

Signature ESPA treatments

The treatment menu also includes signature treatments from luxury wellbeing brand ESPA, including the exclusive ESPA Rebalance & Restore Ritual. Specially designed for the spa, the treatment encompasses an uplifting massage featuring salt stones, a rose quartz facial, scalp massage and salt inhalation to leave the body, skin and mind feeling rebalanced and radiant.

The wellness line-up is completed with a state-of-the-art gym facility, divided into four workout zones: cardio, functional, strength and free weights and equipped with Technogym equipment.
