ishga expands in Asia Pacific

Expanding its international portfolio, organic seaweed skincare brand ishga has partnered with Bliss the Spa, Airways Hotel in Papua New Guinea.

Nestled in its own botanical gardens, the hotel is located in one of the Pacific’s most striking settings and is built around an ancient, locally-quarried monolith.

The twin-level Bliss the Spa is a focal point for the hotel and has ten treatment rooms which offer a full range of massages, luxury baths, facials and nail treatments.

The spa has introduced a range of ishga spa therapies including the Healthy Glow Facial, Timeless Beauty Facial and the Poultice Massage.

Designed with an East Asian influence, the spa’s team of 11 staff is led by Airways Hotel general manager Sunilkumar Panda, who said: “We believe in the power of nature and preserving traditional spa treatments. Ishga has the same vision and that’s why we’re very pleased to work with them.”

Currently distributed in Australia, North America, Germany and the UAE, ishga is due to launch in India in mid-2021 and the team is also currently in talks with distributors in both North Africa and Japan.
