Hotel Savoy partners with Italian cosmeceutical brand for new spa

Hotel Savoy, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Florence, Italy has partnered with Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella to develop a new spa suite in honour of the Italian cosmeceutical brand’s 800th anniversary. 

Located on the fifth floor of the hotel, the spa occupies two floors and boasts a relaxation space and a treatment room offering breathtaking views across the city and the nearby Duomo.

The spa menu offers several face and body rituals developed in partnership with Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica, including the multi-sensory Aromatic Massage, which uses aromatic herb oils to restore psycho-physical balance and the Exfoliating Massage, which uses natural iris powder and vitamin-rich oils to tone and nourish the skin. 

Other treatments on offer include a Draining Massage, Face Touch facial, Hydranuti Facial, Back & Neck Massage and Reflexology. 

The spa follows the opening of the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, which opened at the Hotel Savoy in 2019. It was created to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica, which was founded by Dominican friars in Florence in 1221. The monks used medicinal herbs from the monastic gardens to create medications and balms for the infirmary.
