The Hotel Byblos in Saint Tropez, France will relaunch its fully refurbished Sisley Spa in May.

The family-owned hotel, run by fourth generation owner Antoine Chevanne, has renovated to offer a new approach to wellbeing, and appointed wellness and personal development consultant Marion M’Santi to assist in the process.

Together, Chevanne and M’Santi have curated an offering that will take guests on a journey of self-discovery, helping them to regain control, balance and harmony.

Spa expansion

The refurbished and expanded 450sqm Sisley Spa will offer five individual treatment rooms and a waterfall room with sensory showers.

The first Sisley spa to open in France when it debuted in 2007, the refresh has been led by interior architects Anthony and Marine Ugo.

The new space incorporates elements of natural stone and wood, using soothing tones such as dusky pink and light and dark blues to create a serene ambience.

Onyx is worked in through different textures and colours, and walls have been rounded to create a softer feel.

Other facilities will include a sauna, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and a redesigned hammam, an ice water shower bucket and an outdoor pool.

The famous Salon Libanais, which dates back to the 17th century, will remain a couples’ treatment room.

The patio space, famous for its floor by ceramist Roger Capron, will also remain and be used to accommodate holistic workshops.

Spa offerings

Guests will be able to discover Sisley’s Phyto-Aromatic facial treatments, which incorporate the unique ‘savoir faire’ of the brand, plus three exclusive signature massages designed by local expert, Alain Bibart.

The Deep Atsu massage will combine shiatsu and traditional Swedish massage, while the Slim Detox massage will restore congested circulation and initiate a slimming process.

The Holi Ga treatment represents a melding of massage techniques from Chi Nei Tsang to Shi Atsu plus reflexology and Ko Bi Do.

The spa will offer nails by KURE and additional products by La Sultane de Saba.

Marion M’Santi

Holistic wellbeing

Byblos will also reveal a new holistic programme – billed as the first of its kind in the hospitality industry.

A curation of holistic workshops, treatments and activities, it will aim to deliver meaningful experiences and exceptional results, accessible to every guest.

M’Santi, says: “We wanted to give guests choice and the opportunity to experience a truly bespoke treatment or workshop that was meaningful to them.

“Regardless of guests’ levels of experience, there’s no need to have any prior understanding; simply an open-minded approach and a commitment to learn more.”
