Germaine de Capuccini appoints new general director

Ana Pons Talens has been promoted by GDC Beauty Group as the brand celebrates its 60th anniversary

Spanish skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini has appointed Ana Pons Talens as its new general director.

The brand, which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary, has promoted Pons Talens from her previous role as corporate director, a position she held since 2019.

Pons Talens spent more than 15 years’ within the financial sector. She began her professional career in the auditing sector before ten years working for companies including KPMG.

In 2016, she joined the largest assisted reproduction group in the world as an internal auditor. In 2019, Pons Talens moved to the beauty and professional cosmetics sector, joining GDC Beauty Group.

“We have several ambitious projects and new launches ahead during this year, and as we celebrate the 60th anniversary as a group, we will reflect on our journey and plot future ambitions.”

Germaine de Capuccini distributes its skincare to more than 80 countries and has six subsidiaries, including one in the UK.

The brand has recently launched its new Timexpert Hydraluronic Supreme Sorbet, a 24- hour hydrating anti-ageing treatment.

“Our aim remains to always generate a substantial and positive impact on society,” said Pons Talens. “Our strategy at Germaine de Capuccini is to continue consolidating the professional channel in Europe and focus on our commitment to growth in the United States.

“We have a growth target for the current financial year of 13% and our ambition is to serve as an inspiration for beauty therapists worldwide.”
