Federation of Nail Professionals welcomes new members

Not-for-profit industry organisation is aiming to improve standards

A new not-for-profit organisation has been launched to support and raise the standards of education and development for the UK’s nail professionals.

The Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP) is currently free to sign up to for students, newly qualified nail technicians, educators, salon owners, brands and distribution partners.

 

FNP founder and author Marian Newman has worked for more than 30 years in the nail industry and was awarded the British Empire Medal for ‘services to the industry during Covid-19’.

The association was created by nail industry advocate Marian Newman and is being supported by HABIA, the British Beauty Council and BABTAC. Founding board members include deputy chair Sue Davies and financial director Peter Borg.

The NFP’s planned Licence to Teach initiative intends to raise the standard of education for all levels of nail professionals, including educators.
