Elemis has announced it will be supporting Mind, the mental health charity for World Mental Health Day, which takes place today (October 10, 2023).

The global skincare brand has pledged to donate £10 from the sale of each Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm to support Mind’s charitable work.

The charity activation on the brand’s website will be in place from October 10 to December 10, 2023.

The brand has made a commitment to provide a minimum donation of £50,000 over the next 12 months in support of the fight for mental health.

“I am a true believer that the lifestyle choices you make today not only set you up for good skin days ahead, but are crucial to maintaining positive mental wellbeing and a focus on your overall wellness.”

Elemis supporting Mind

Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, providing advice and support to help anyone experiencing a mental health problem.

The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness, promote understanding and provide support to those who need it most.

Mind has a network of more than 100 local Minds across England and Wales, which offer specialised services based on the needs of the communities they support.

“Your skin, body and wellness lie at the heart of Elemis,” said Noella Gabriel, Elemis co-founder and global president.

“We are advocates of taking time out every day, to tune into you and reset. Whether it be an early exercise class (I swim each morning to set myself up for the day ahead), an evening cleansing moment to melt away the day, or a regular facial to escape the buzz of a busy lifestyle.”

A focus on mental health

“We are so grateful to Elemis for choosing to raise funds through their cleansing balm and for helping us highlight the importance of looking after your mental health,” said Rebecca Hastings, head of corporate partnerships at Mind.

“The pandemic, and now the cost-of-living crisis, has had a devastating effect on the nation’s mental health, especially for those of us with existing mental health problems.”
“It is vital that everyone has access to the right support, advice and information when they need it. The money raised by Elemis will help support our Infoline, and the campaigning we do to ensure that the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem each year, do not face it alone.”
