Swiss hospitality management school Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) has launched a  redesigned Executive MBA course, based on a blended approach that can run concurrent with existing work commitments.

The part-time programme is focused on helping executives to accelerate their careers with a fresh global perspective.

Designed for mid-career, service industry professionals looking to upskill, the 18-month programme has been revised to address changing consumer expectations and working conditions.

The Executive MBA is geared for the entire service industry, including luxury retail and key themes include leadership, innovation and multicultural working.

Service excellence and customer-centric business strategies will be incorporated into the learning experience, explains Dr Achim Schmitt, dean of the Graduate School ad interim: “This new programme is perfectly aligned with our teaching philosophy and commitment to to provide the most impactful programmes, always one step ahead.”

The Executive MBA will be offered at the school's Switzerland and Singapore-based campuses

As of 2021, the new EMBA by EHL will be offered in each autumn semester in Singapore as well as at EHL Campus Lausanne every Spring intake from 2022.

The programme includes study trips and visits from international professors, and students may be able to study at both campuses in order to further broaden their international exposure.
