Deos, Mykonos opens with new Sana Spa

Deos has opened a new boutique hotel in Mykonos, Greece complete with a 390sqm spa. Deos, which means awe in Greek, promises tranquillity and sanctuary close to Mykonos town. Each of the hotel’s 42 rooms has a private terrace with a hot tub or pool.

Designed by Galal Mahmoud Architects, the hotel’s Sana Spa has a unique marble indoor pool and relaxation area, plus marble adorned treatment rooms.

The Sana Spa relaxation area is bathed in sunlight filtered by vegetation to help guests draw on nature’s energies as they relax. Facilities include a sauna and steam room, plus five therapy suites.

“The spa specialises in bespoke treatments, crafted to meet individual needs,” said Eleftheria Karapiperaki, spa manager at Sana Spa. “We use custom-made products infused with locally sourced essential oils and botanicals.

“Every aspect of our spa experience is personalised and deeply rooted in natural healing and wellness philosophies. We are committed to authentic, customised care.”

A menu of signature treatments is provided by Elemis, Caribbean line Ligne St Barth and Augustinus Bader. The spa employs four therapists.

As a counterpoint to spa, the Deos gym is a dynamic space with high ceilings and natural air flow, equipped by Technogym.

Classes include Pilates and yoga as well as private full-moon yoga and meditation.

Uniforms are supplied by 2A Handmade, towels and linens are by Sakalidis and treatment beds by Relia.
