Pioneering Thai wellness destination Chiva-Som Hua Hin is set to launch its first ever retreat residency in Europe.

Chiva-Som will offer two exclusive five-night retreats in partnership with the Weissenhaus luxury resort, which sits on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Germany.

The two retreats will run consecutively during the summer, from May 21 to 26 and then May 28 to June 2.

Transformative wellness retreats

The Weissenhaus retreats will offer Chiva-Som’s pioneering holistic wellness philosophy in the tranquility of the Relais & Châteaux beachside estate.

For the transformative wellness brand’s first foray into Europe, each retreat will be limited to a maximum of 12 guests.

The programmes will offer a personalised health and wellness experience to promote guest wellbeing and sustainably improve their quality of life.

Each guest will receive a detailed needs analysis followed by an individually tailored retreat itinerary.

Treatments and activities will include three body treatments and JetPeel therapy, plus individual and group meditation and yoga sessions. The retreats will be delivered by spa therapists and physiotherapists from Chiva-Som Hua Hin.

Chiva-Som’s team of chefs will travel to Weissenhaus to showcase the Thai resort’s signature wellness cuisine.

There will be specially prepared detox menus and culinary masterclasses, plus a gala farewell dinner in conjunction with the Weissenhaus’s two-Michelin star chef, Christian Scharrer.

“Chiva-Som and Weissenhaus share a vision of excellence in wellness. Together we have created two retreats, which represent our joint belief that a balanced fusion of eastern and western wellness approaches can offer sustainable lifestyle transformations for modern consumers.”

“To counteract this, people are increasingly seeking holistic wellness to support their physical, mental and spiritual health.

”Our joint offering will address not only the body, but also the mind and soul, offering guests a journey to inner balance and outer wellbeing.”
