Chewton Glen in the New Forest has announced a new partnership with Irish skincare line Seabody. The hotel and spa, part of Iconic Luxury Hotels, is Seabody’s first mainland UK account.

The spa partnership will see Chewton Glen introduce rejuvenating new treatments that celebrate the healing powers of ocean algae.

Seabody, founded by cellular biochemist Dr Helena McMahon, creates entirely plant-based, high efficacy products powered by sustainable cellular biotech.

From this month, three exclusive Seabody treatments will be available to Chewton Glen guests and spa members.

Each treatment draws on Seabody’s proprietary bioactives and incorporates holistic modalities such as breathwork, touch and movement.

“We are delighted to welcome Seabody to our spa at Chewton Glen. Championing the natural restorative powers of the sea, Seabody’s ethos aligns perfectly with our own – a dedication to holistic wellness experiences while celebrating our coastal environment.”

Each Seabody product is enriched with hero ingredient Maraderm™ – a proprietary blend of pure bioactives that stimulates collagen. It also supports the skin’s microbiome and elastin synthesis.

The Seabody Connect Full Body massage provides targeted relief from tightness and tension, while the Seabody Touch facial stimulates circulation and initiates collagen and elastin renewal.

The Seabody Rebalance body ritual begins with breathwork and a grounding ceremony to create balance. This is followed by a detoxifying cold-pressed sea gel body mask, hot-stone back placement, a facial cleanse and scalp massage.

“As Seabody’s first UK partnership, this collaboration marks an exciting milestone,” said Dr Helena McMahon, founder of Seabody.

“Together with Chewton Glen we have crafted a unique fusion of cutting-edge biotechnology and holistic wellness practices, delivering transformative results.”

Contrast therapy with the Saltwater Sauna

The spa at Chewton Glen has also launched a partnership with the Saltwater Sauna, focused on the multiple benefits of hot and cold contrast therapy.

The Saltwater Sauna was founded to bring authentic sauna culture to the UK by Finnish born Arlene Glyn-Jones and her partner Sam.

The couple teamed up to create a Nordic experience that draws on contemporary global practices.

Chewton Glen’s Sea-Scape Package begins at Avon Beach, just a few miles away from the hotel, for a private sauna experience with the Saltwater Sauna.

Guests start with a bracing dip in the sea, before warming back up in beachside Nordic bathing saunas.

Back at the hotel, guests will experience a Seabody treatment – either an uplifting sculptural facial or a stimulating body treatment.

Both treatments are designed to unlock the regenerative power of ocean algae from the Irish Atlantic coastline.

The overnight package includes a night in one of of Chewton Glen’s suites or wraparound Treehouses.
