Amanda Winwood, founder of Made for Life Organics, has received the King’s Awards for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise were established in 1965 by Queen Elizabeth II. The awards were renamed last year to reflect King Charles’s desire to continue his mother’s legacy.
The awards celebrate the success of innovative UK businesses leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices.
They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses and have been awarded to more than 7,000 companies.
Made for Life Organics is one of 252 organisations to be honoured in 2024. It has been recognised within the smallest category and is one of only 29 businesses to be awarded for Sustainable Development.
