World Spa and Wellness unveils online conference line-up

The organisers of the World Spa & Wellness Mentorship and Online Conference have announced a speaker line-up that includes Louise Moore, director of spa operations and development for Hilton Group; Andrea Lomas, head of group spa operations for Mandarin Oriental; and Emlyn Brown, global vice-president, wellbeing, at Accor.

Taking place on February 28 – March 2 as part of Professionalbeautyworld, the online event for spa and wellness professionals will take place over three packed days and all sessions are completely free to attend.

The mentors will be speaking on a series of panels during the virtual event that will guide 36 selected spa professional mentees. Topics covered will include Caring for care-givers; Getting guests back safely and gladly; and Driving engagement from online to onsite.

The conference will be divided into two parts – the Mentorship and Online Conference, and the Conversations on Wellness stream, which will cover key topics in the wellness industry with a focus on services for individuals who have been touched by cancer.

‘Conversations on Wellness’ speakers will include Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, and the founder and chairman of Kamalaya, Koh Samui, John Stewart.

There will also be a Restorative Wellbeing session helmed by Susie Ellis, chairman and CEO of the Global Wellness Institute, which launched a separate section of Wellness Evidence in 2019 called CAM4Cancer.
