Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, which is due to open this autumn, has announced it will partner with Oskia.

The Hilton luxury brand’s first UK hotel is set within one of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks.

One of London’s most ambitious restoration projects, the hotel’s spa will feature individual and couples’ treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy pool as well as ice fountain and private relaxation area.

The collaboration marks Oskia’s first relationship with a Waldorf Astoria worldwide. An exclusive collection of treatments has been created specifically for the property.

Treatments will be personalised to individual needs, in keeping with Waldorf Astoria’s approach to intuitive care.

“There is a natural synergy between Oskia and the hotel. Both are unmistakably British, both are rooted in craftsmanship and both bring a quietly confident approach to luxury, something our guests will feel in every treatment.”

An intimate spa experience

The Waldorf Astoria Spa will combine exclusive Oksia treatments with personalised care and advanced wellness facilities, inviting guests to pause, restore and reconnect.

The treatment menu will be delivered under the direction of the property’s new spa manager, Caitlin Ryde.

She will lead the spa team and oversee daily operation, from treatment and service standards to the wider guest journey.

“For Oskia’s first partnership with the brand to be in a building as steeped in history as Admiralty Arch is quite moving. There is complete respect for the history of the property in every considered detail of the guest journey, blended spectacularly with every modern convenience.”

Founder, Oskia

“The Oskia experience will be delivered at Waldorf Astoria Spa with exactly the same sense of care, craft and excellence that went into designing the products and treatments,” said Georgie Cleeve, founder of Oskia.

“As someone who lived and worked in London for many years, it’s a partnership I am particularly excited by and proud of.”

History, place and possibility

The Admiral Arch property is being developed in partnership with the Reuben Brothers.

Located on the Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, the restored grade I-listed monument has long been synonymous with national pageantry and state occasions.

Commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria and designed by Sir Aston Webb, the architect behind the Buckingham Palace façade.

Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch represents a convergence of history, place and possibility

The hotel, which was originally due to open in 2022, will feature 114 elegantly designed rooms, suites and residences. Each carefully crafted to respect the building’s historic architecture.

“Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch represents a rare convergence of history, place and possibility,” said Dino Michael, senior vice president and category head, Hilton luxury brands.

“To open a building of such cultural and national significance to overnight guests for the first time is both a privilege and a responsibility.

“It reflects our vision for Waldorf Astoria as a brand that inhabits the world’s most meaningful destinations, where heritage is not preserved as a backdrop, but reinterpreted as a living, contemporary experience for today’s luxury travellers.”
