Patmos Aktis in Patmos, Greece has reopened post-renovation with a rebranded wellness offering.

Now a Marriott International Luxury Collection property, the hotel on Grikos Bay has revealed its all-new wellness offering, Anasa Wellness and Spa.

Derived from the Greek word for breath, Anasa draws inspiration from the island’s spiritual character and the restorative rhythm of the Aegean.

The new wellness concept was implemented in collaboration with Eminence Hospitality Health and Wellness.

"The future of wellness lies in creating places that transform, not simply treat. With Anasa Wellness and Spa, Eminence Hospitality has shaped a destination where science, culture and human connection come together, allowing every guest to experience the healing spirit of Patmos in a deeply personal way.”

A rebrand rooted in breathwork

The new spa concept redefines the wellbeing offer through an immersive, holistic approach. “True luxury lies in balance, presence and the ability to reconnect with oneself,” said Zeta Sarri, sales and marketing manager at Patmos Aktis.

Three treatments anchor the new menu: the Hippocratic Vitality Ritual draws on ancient Asklipieia and Hippocratic methods; the Breath of Patmos is a 90-minute ritual that incorporates guided breathing, rhythmic massage, herbal oils and heated stones; the 120-minute Aegean Renewal experience includes mineral-rich exfoliation, flowing massage and nourishing body mask, to draw on the cleansing energy of the sea.

Facilities and partners

“With Anasa Wellness & Spa, we are introducing more than a new concept – we are sharing a way of being,” said Sarri.

“Rooted in the spiritual essence of Patmos and inspired by the Blue Zones philosophy of longevity, Anasa is designed as a sanctuary where breath, nature, and conscious living come together.”

The renovated spa includes an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation lounge and three treatment rooms. There is also a dedicated beauty salon for nail services.

Treatment partners are Kos Paris, QMS Medicosmetics and Seaskin Life, spanning Mediterranean botanicals, collagen-led facials and marine-based body treatments.
