Chiva-Som gears up for launch of Zulal Wellness Resort

Leading wellness resort brand Chiva-Som is finalising preparations to launch its new destination resort in Qatar in early 2021.

Spanning 280,000sqm, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som will be the world’s first centre for Traditional Arabic Integrative Medicine (TAIM).

The resort, located around an hour’s drive from Doha, will offer both family-orientated and adults-only programming, providing guests with a specially-developed menu of Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine.

The full-immersion facilities will be operated sustainably under the leadership of general manager Daniele Vastolo, who joins the pre-opening team from his previous role as general manager of the Kempinski Summerland Hotel and Resort in Beirut.

Chairman and CEO of Chiva-Som International Health Resort, Krip Rojanastien, said: “We are delighted to have Daniele as the general manager.
