Gisborough Hall hotel in North Yorkshire has revealed planning permission has been granted for a new destination wellness retreat. Sakura Spa will open in spring 2026.
Located on the tip of the North York Moors, the multi-million pound Sakura Spa will invite guests to reconnect with the natural world through a deeply immersive, holistic wellbeing experience.
Set within a private woodland garden, the spa will feature six treatment rooms offering signature treatments that use results-driven, touch-led therapies.
There will be an extensive thermal garden with a vitality pool, steam room, saunas and a garden relaxation room. There will also be secluded outdoor relaxation spaces and a dining area, exclusive to spa guests.
“As a family, we remain deeply committed to the long-term future of Gisborough Hall,” says owner Lord Gisborough. “The creation of Sakura Spa is a significant investment that reflects our belief of the potential of this place.”
