Ellisons unveils new wellness suite at its base in Coventry

Ellison, the UK’s oldest established hair and beauty wholesaler, has partnered with Gharieni Group to create a new wellness suite.

The suite, which is at Ellisons’ head office in Coventry, is centred this around Gharieni Group’s touchless technology.

Three of Gharieni’s evidence-based wellness loungers are available to use in the suite – the RLX Satori lounger, MLW Amphibia Welnamis treatment bed and RLX Aurasens lounger.

“By showcasing these innovative technologies, we aim to support our customers wishing to diversify their offerings,” said Matthew Champney, commercial director at Ellisons.

“Touchless technologies can create new revenue opportunities and offer alternative solutions during therapist recruitment challenges, while enabling spas to provide exceptional experiences for guests.

“The showroom is centrally located at our Coventry headquarters and strengthens our continued partnership with the Gharieni Group.”

Ellisons management buyout

A leading spa supplier, Ellisons completed a management buyout in September 2024.

Managing director Geoff Morris transitioned ownership to the existing management team – Matthew Champney, Lee Farmer and Nadine Meakins.

Paul Faulkner, former CEO of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, joined as chairperson.

Founded in Birmingham in 1930 and now based in Coventry, Ellisons ships more than 2.5 million items annually to more than 50,000 spas and salons.

Its categories include skincare and facial, lashes and brows, tanning, cosmetics, nails, waxing and hair products, as well as spa furniture.
