King Jason Zante set to debut Purai Spa on Zakynthos

King Jason Zante has announced it will open with a 320sqm spa in June 2024.

Purai Spa will be operated by wellness consulting firm Idolo Group, which develops and operates spas in luxury hotel resorts. For Purai, it has created a signature menu of services based on the ‘slow living’ concept.

As well as three treatment rooms, Purai Spa will include a sauna, steam room, relaxation area and contemporary fitness studio. Here, yoga, meditation and slow-life classes will be available for guests.

“Our personalised spa experience is crafted to align with the principles of slow living, providing a serene escape from the hustle of everyday life,” says Costas Athanasiou, managing director at Idolo Group.

“Our goal is to guide guests toward a state of balance, ensuring a transformative and enriching experience.”

Slow living at Purai Spa

Purai Spa will have a restful design with natural raw materials, muted earth tones, water and light.

Much of the equipment for the spa, including pools, lockers and changing rooms, is being custom made.

Thermal areas are supplied by Harvia, software by Atlantis spa software and treatment beds by Lemi. Towels and spa linens are from Vamvax.

The menu will be devised using Germaine de Capuccini products, and treatments will be offered by a team of four therapists.

The spa will offer guests the opportunity to work with a Slowness Coach, guiding them to discover their own slower pace through morning meditations in the olive groves, silent reflective olive leaf-picking and tea rituals, yoga, and gentle stretching practices.

King Jason Zante hotel is being billed as a’ floating tribute to the amazing power of water and the art of slow living’.

An adult-only hotel and part of the Exclusive Collection by Louis Hotels, it will offer floating overwater rooms designed to celebrate the elemental and natural beauty of Zakynthos.
